Scribbling

I'm an inveterate scribbler and will write anything for anyone. Even worse, I'll do it as anyone, too.

Here are some of the published and unpublished results. Just in case they are interesting to someone out there. I'll spare you the 60 or so columns I did for Campaign Middle East before it got banjaxed. A few of those are still mounted on ArabianBusiness.com.

  • Huckster  - "Get over it. Those kids are PS3 playing sufpunks with a nasty Green Day habit, 8gig Nanos stuffed with ripped MP3s and a blog about picking your nose or how to off your siblings"

  • Nuts - "She was distorting, now, becoming Daliesque, her full torso melting and drooping over a forked stick."

  • Language - "...shaking hands in Kamchatka means you want to be boiled alive in fish sauce..."

  • February - "The trip’s turned bad and there’s a Balrog outside the door, banging to get in."

  • Radio ads - "Like a haiku, the true Gulf radio ad follows a format that is as formal as the Japanese tea ceremony."

  • Da Blog. All the blether you need and more!
